We shall define the word faith as follows : Believing in a superior entity, a notion which, in Mankind, in its fragility, confused about its future, seeks answers through faith, help and comfort in order to keep on living, hoping that its existence has a meaning.
That faith is then transformed by men, perverted and spoiled into a tool to achieve selfish purposes.
Thus religion was born.
Men impose their own way to believe, to think, to behave, and to communicate with one's neighbour. Prayers and dogmas become weapons used to standardise and control the masses, in their search for recognition and meaning. To do so they use mankind's ancient fears to justify themselves.
Religion, draped in false mercy, thus develop a cult of personality, rather than devotion to the supreme being, which was the original basis of faith.
Thus autocracy is born.
Imams, priests and popes become political leaders imposing their world conception, without leaving the choice of free will to the mass, which turns into a mindless herd, guided by blind faith into a god who's mere existence is defined by scriptures accumulated over the centuries.
History tells us that religious teachings are nothing but tales which cannot be clearly verified. Who's to assert that God's commands are truely of divine nature, and not stories made up by a moral in order to control others.
Always hungry for more conquests and devotees, the religious dictatorship adapts iteslf to the cultures it annexes in order to grow forever more, and always with contempt for free will. One could take as an example the christian calendar, absorbing pagan holidays and thus converting the polytheist nations.
Mass manipulations is then created.
Let us remember that faith is about being in harmony with one's self, acting according to one's own moral code. Believing would then mean living according to unpartial rules, and not those born from religions themselves.
Being devoted to the one and true God comes with a set of laws forcing out every notion of individuality, leaving nothing but the rules of community instead. Religions are wielding their psychological weapons, based on primal fears such as the fear of Death, and of divine judgement. Instauring reign of fear, religion forces its devotees to blindly follow orders, while being convinced that instead of another stage of consciousness, it is heaven that those rules will help them reach. Material life then becomes of very little importance, compared to the ideal of a peaceful death.
Here we are on the verge of a moral dictatorship.
Imposing a way of thinking and acting leads to dictatorship. The fact that religion can lead to dictatorship or at least autocracy is not a hasty conclusion but a fact that history teaches us.
That is why we combine a martial imagery with various symbols and doctrines from religions around the world, to illustrate that thought.
